Overnight Renewal

Skin repairs on its own schedule, and cell turnover and barrier recovery peak while you sleep. There is no sunscreen to work around at night, which is why the ingredients that increase sun sensitivity, retinoids and acids among them, are applied then.

Richer textures also suit the overnight hours, when there is nothing to layer over them and no reason to think about how a product sits under makeup.
