Azelaic Acid

Azelaic acid is unusual in working on blemishes and pigmentation at once, which suits skin that breaks out and then marks. It also calms visible redness, making it one of the few actives recommended for both acne-prone and rosacea-prone skin. It is generally better tolerated than the acids and retinoids used for the same concerns.
