Description
Avène Cicalfate+ Intensive Skin Recovery Serum is the lightweight route to barrier repair, for skin that is compromised and also oily, or that needs something able to sit under makeup. Most repair products are rich creams, which rules them out in both cases. It suits skin in the days after a procedure, during a reactive flare, or when a routine has gone too far too fast. Layer it under a moisturiser rather than instead of one, and give it a fortnight before judging it. Panthenol and pantolactone drive the recovery, with 4-T-butylcyclohexanol to calm the look of redness.
How to Use
Apply 3-4 drops to clean face morning and evening, then follow with moisturiser. Use during recovery phases or as needed.
