Description
Avène Cleanance Detox Mask is a weekly step rather than a daily one, and useful precisely because it is occasional. Ten minutes, once or twice a week, on oily and congested skin, and avoid using it in the same session as another acid. What separates it from the drying clay masks that leave skin tight and reactive for a day afterwards is that it calms as it clears. Kaolin clay absorbs the surface oil that builds between cleanses, glycolic and salicylic acid work on texture and inside the pore, and zinc gluconate with bisabolol keeps the whole thing from turning into an irritation.
How to Use
Apply a generous layer to clean face (avoiding eyes and lips). Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse with water. Use 1-2 times a week.
