Description
Avène XeraCalm Cleansing Bar is a cleansing bar rather than a soap, which is the distinction that matters for atopic-prone skin. True soap is alkaline and strips the lipids that eczema-prone skin is already short of; a syndet bar cleanses at a skin-friendly pH without doing that. It works on face and body, suits very dry and atopic-prone skin including children, and the solid format lasts considerably longer than an equivalent bottle. Rinse and pat dry rather than rubbing. Evening primrose oil and Avène's Aquaphilus dolomiae extract support the barrier while it cleanses.
How to Use
Wet the bar and skin, lather in hands and massage onto face and body. Rinse thoroughly. Use daily.
