Description
Avène Cleanance AHA Exfoliating Serum is a deliberately short formula, ten ingredients in total, and that restraint is the point of it. It suits blemish-prone skin that is also reactive, the combination that usually cannot tolerate a stronger acid. Expect it to work on the look of texture, blackheads and the marks left behind by old spots rather than on active breakouts. Evening use with sunscreen the next day, two or three nights a week before daily. It is built on a lactic and succinic acid blend rather than the glycolic acid most exfoliating serums use, and lactic acid works more gently and holds water while it resurfaces.
How to Use
Apply to clean face in the evening, 2-3 nights a week to start, building to nightly as tolerated. Always pair with daily SPF.
