Description
Avène Gentle Exfoliating Gel is a physical exfoliant that is genuinely usable on sensitive skin, which most are not. Physical exfoliation earned its bad reputation through apricot kernels and walnut shells, which have jagged edges and cause micro-tears. Use it once or twice a week with no pressure at all, and let the beads do the work. For sensitive or reactive skin that wants smoother texture without the sting an acid brings. The beads are jojoba esters, spherical so they roll across the skin rather than scratch it, with sodium salicylate and zinc gluconate supporting the work inside the pore.
How to Use
Apply to damp face and massage in circular motions, avoiding the eye area, then rinse with water. Use 1-2 times a week.
