Description
SkinCeuticals Advanced Scar Control helps soften the look of new scars, whether from surgery, a procedure or an injury, and works best on scars less than three months old while the tissue is still remodelling. The gel is 95% silicones, the form of scar care most used in clinical practice, with 0.5% allantoin as a skin protectant, 2% sunflower-derived fatty acids for dryness and 1% ultralight silica to keep the texture non-sticky. In a 12-week study SkinCeuticals reports improvement in scar redness, discolouration and raised texture.
How to Use
Apply a thin layer to closed scar tissue once daily or as needed. Do not apply to open or broken skin. Pair with daily SPF over treated areas.
